PS 88Q Band

PS 88Q is excited to continue our Concert Band, led by the talented Mr. Dumont. Open to students in grades 3 through 5, the Concert Band offers a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to develop their skills and perform for a variety of audiences.

Our students showcase their musical talents at numerous events, including performances at the Peter Cardella Center, community gatherings, school assemblies, and concerts. Additionally, our band has been honored with invitations to perform at prestigious events such as the Queens Cultural Fair, highlighting the exceptional talent within our school.

The Concert Band meets after school, providing dedicated practice time for students to refine their techniques and prepare for performances. Through participation in the band, students not only enhance their musical abilities but also build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of community.
