My partners and I (Cindy) interviewed Ms. Linda about the school Breakfast Program.
Ms. Linda told us that students need to swipe a DOE card given to them in order to eat a free breakfast. Ms. Linda said, “People are wondering why we are using cards.

It’s simple, every time you swipe the card, it goes into the computer so they can get a number of how many children are getting breakfast.” So far, about 200 children go to breakfast every morning. K-2 students check-in with Ms. Annie and Grade 3-5 students go to Ms. Linda to get checked in. If you are interested in coming to breakfast, come in through the yellow doors between 7:20AM to 7:50AM. Ms. Cindy will always be at the door to say. “Good morning.” This program is from the Department of Education to make sure every child get an opportunity to get a good breakfast before starting the day.
