Recently, my partners and I (Emily) interviewed Mr. Nolan about the I Got Caught Doing Something Good program. Mr. Nolan told us that this is an individual reward system to improve behavior and create a Safe and Caring environment.
He added, “Our school wants to reward students who do the right thing and exhibit model behavior. You can “get caught” by doing many different good deeds, like holding a door or picking up trash. Students receive a certificate for their good deeds. The student’s name then gets put in a raffle for a $20 Toys R Us gift-card.” Mr. Nolan then told us that, “Parents who attend the Partnering with Parents events will have their names placed in a raffle for a $20 Stop and Shop gift-card too.”
