October was filled with a lot of exciting activities for your children. We had so many parents and students attend our Unique Costume ball. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces!

Thursday, November 16th is our Parent Teacher Conference. It is a half day for your children. The times are as follows:

Daytime 12:30-2:30

Evening 4:30-7:30

I encourage all parents to not wait until our Parent Teacher Conferences to speak to your child’s teachers. Teachers are here an additional 40 minutes every Tuesday after 2:20. Please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule at time to meet.

Saturday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day. Veterans Day annually falls on November 11. This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918. Veterans are thanked for their services to the United States on Veterans Day.

There is no school on Friday November 7th (Veterans Day) as well as November 23rd and November 24th in observance of Thanksgiving Day. I would like to wish the entire PS 88 community a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
