Planning for Blended Learning

As September gets closer, we are working to be ready for our amazing students! After submitting our model choice, Model 2, we were approved.  To prepare we wanted to survey our families to ensure that siblings are programmed for the same day, if that is your wish. Please take this quick survey to ensure that siblings are programmed in the same group, whether A, B, or C. If you have only one child at PS 88Q, or you opted into remote learning only, you do not have to take the survey.

Model Two

For schools able to accommodate roughly one third of their student population, students will receive in-person instruction 1-2 days per week. This amounts to a total of five days in-person every three weeks. To maximize consistency, one day will be the same each week. Students will participate in remote learning for non-in-person days. For schools able to accommodate roughly one third of their student population with physical distancing, this model is the chancellor’s preference because it provides one consistent day each week.
